Job Description
We are seeking a Field Technical Support Consultant II / Onsite Administrator (Print) - OSA Level III to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in printer fleet support, device maintenance, incident resolution, and customer service and a proven ability to resolve technical issues, manage consumables, and meet service-level goals in an onsite customer environment.
Responsibilities:
* Monitor systems to detect performance issues and resolve technical problems on assigned hardware and software using established protocols.
* Identify incident trends, escalate within defined timeframes, and follow incident, change, and problem management processes.
* Conduct routine installations and configurations; assemble and integrate systems/products per standard procedures.
* Respond to service, product, technical, and customer-relations inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Execute approved scripted change activities while adhering to governance processes.
* Meet daily production goals and contract-required response times.
* Align work with team strategy, collaborate to enhance operations, and support process standardization.
* Protect data confidentiality and support execution of business processes with independent judgment.
* Complete process-oriented assignments, share technical information, and support department plans.
* Manage small projects or programs within the team and assist with delivery decisions.
Onsite Administrator (Print) - OSA Duties:
* Manage consumable inventory and ensure adequate supplies at customer sites.
* Replace toner, consumables, and paper; clear paper jams; perform initial troubleshooting.
* Assist end users with device functionality and coordinate with HP for software-branded support.
* Report customer dissatisfaction to CSM/SDM and collect usage pages per device as needed.
* Swap out devices with spares as required and support incident prevention in area of responsibility.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Ability to resolve most technical incidents independently and collaborate on cross-technology issues.
* Effective, tactful communication with technical audiences and management; active listening and audience-aware messaging.
* Proactive, reactive, and creative problem-solving with priority-setting and practical solution development.
* Basic project management, analytical, and documentation skills; ability to suggest operational efficiencies.
* Education: High School Diploma/GED or higher. Bachelor's degree preferred or Associate degree in a technical field with 4-6 years of related experience desired.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience in maintenance, quality, or related field supporting print fleets or end-user devices.
* Familiarity with incident, change, and problem management frameworks in enterprise environments.
