Position: Residential Child Care Worker
Location: Painesville
Willing To Hire: Veterans, Disabled, Older Adults 55+
Hours: Full-time (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) includes evenings, weekends, and flexibility for other shifts as needed
Pay: $20.66/Hr
$21.64/Hr after 6 months
.75/Hr additional for Associate degree
$1.00/Hr for Bachelor degree or higher

POSITION SUMMARY
This role provides direct care and supervision to adolescents in a residential treatment setting serving abused and neglected youth. Employees work as part of a team in a structured but supportive environment, helping to ensure safety, stability, and positive development for residents.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direct supervision and support to youth in a residential setting.
- Assist with daily routines, structure, and behavior management.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all residents.
- Build positive, professional relationships with youth.
- Monitor and document behaviors, incidents, and progress.
- Support recreational, educational, and life skill activities.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Follow all agency policies, safety protocols, and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in direct care of children required.
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License required.
- Ability to pass BCII/FBI background check, BMV check, drug screening, and physical exam.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and flexible shifts as needed.
