Pay: $16.79/Hr

$17.47/Hr after 6 months

.75/Hr additional for Associate degree or higher

POSITION SUMMARY

This part-time position is responsible for preparing meals for residents in a children’s group home setting. The role includes meal preparation, grocery shopping, inventory management, kitchen cleaning, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and cook meals for residents.
• Shop for groceries and maintain food inventory.
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and kitchen safety.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen areas and equipment.
• Monitor supplies and restock as needed.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines.
• Support a safe and structured environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year experience as a food service worker (residential, restaurant, school, or similar).
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass employer-paid BCI/FBI background check, physical, drug screen, and BMV check.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a structured setting.
