  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of recruiting, benefits administration, and managing confidential information and documents.


Preferred Qualifications:Prior experience in the public sector or higher education environment

Master’s degree in human resourcesSummary of Duties:The Human Resources Generalist coordinates key human resources functions, including recruiting and staffing, benefits administration, compliance reporting, and daily administrative operations. 


This role oversees the hiring and onboarding processes, administers employee benefits, maintains HRIS systems and employee records, supports professional development initiatives, manages human resources–related projects, supervises a student employee, and coordinates the student employment process. 


Responsibilities also include ensuring efficient HR operations and providing responsive support to employees and managers.Location:NewarkWork Hours:Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
