Job Description: Ironworkers Local 550 in Canton, OH, is accepting applications for multiple full-time Ironworker Apprentice positions for a 4-year apprenticeship.
Ironworker Apprentices will learn structural steel erection, reinforcing steel installation, rigging, ornamental glass and glazing installation, certified welding and pre-engineered building erection and sheeting.

- Local 550’s Journeyman Scale is currently $38.65
- First-Year Apprenticeship Wages start at $25.12/hour with additional wage increases of $1.54 every 6 months over a 4-year period plus benefits
- Must have a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, grade transcripts, if in the military a copy of the DD214, birth certificate, Social Security card, proof of residence and 2 letters of recommendation.

Details: Full time. First Shift. Hours/week (varies). Sunday through Saturday. $25.12/hour (starting wage - $1.54 increase every 6 months over a 4-year period) to $38.65/hour (Journeyman).
Qualifications: High school diploma / GED. Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. Must be at least 18 years of age.
Driver’s License Requirement(s): Must have valid driver’s license.
