A manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Weld Technician to set up, operate, and program welding equipment to support production needs. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Job Duties:
- Set up, run, and troubleshoot robotic welding systems
- Program and adjust robotic welders to meet production specifications
- Operate projection and resistance welding machines
- Inspect welds to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on welding equipment
- Work with production and engineering teams to improve weld processes
Qualification:
- Must have 2+ years of welding experience; Experience with robotic weld programming preferred
- Knowledge of projection and resistance welding processes is needed
- Must have a strong mechanical aptitude while being able to pay a high attention to detail
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprint and welding symbols
- Must have strong troubleshooting skills
- Must be able to work safely and abide by all company standards, policies, and procedures
