Position: Civil Drafter

Location: Mentor, OH

Hours: Full-time (M-F, 8-5)

Pay: $75,000 - $85,000 annually

POSITION SUMMARY

This role provides technical design support and drafting services for civil projects. Responsibilities include assisting customers with product solutions, preparing design packages, and supporting project coordination efforts to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical support, including product selection and installation guidance.
• Assist customers with hydraulic information and problem resolution.
• Prepare design deliverables such as drawings, specifications, and submittal packages.
• Complete material take-offs and generate accurate material lists
• Perform technical calculations for product specifications.
• Maintain and update technical databases and documentation.
• Coordinate project information with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with sales teams to support customer satisfaction and project success.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and communicate with management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil design.
• Experience with stormwater or related civil products preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret civil construction documents.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2021 or newer), Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
