REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be available the entire work period of 6/16/26-11/3/26. Must agree to 40 hr work week. Employer will provide transportation from employer provided living quarters to work site every day. Must read, and agree to, all terms and conditions of employment prior to a referral to the employer.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least 2 months of verifiable experience in all job duties. This job requires exposure to extreme temperatures, ability to lift 50 lbs., repetitive movements, extensive walking, frequent stooping, extensive pushing and pulling, drug screen, criminal background check.


JOB DUTIES: Handling manual tasks associated with commodity production and harvest activities. The farm work position includes duties associated with the planting, cultivation, harvesting of radishes and celery. This work can require standing, walking, stooping, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds for long periods of time outdoors in all weather conditions. This work requires adherence to important food safety and quality standard operating procedures and the ability to work quickly and consistently alongside fellow workers with a positive, professional, team based attitude and a consideration for the safety and health of fellow workers and of the consumers who will purchase and consume the crops grown, harvested, packed, and shipped from the farm. Crops Contained in Request: Celery and Radishes Workers may perform the following job duties on any of the commodities listed above and various points during the duration of the contract. Celery and Radish Workers will bend and stoop to pick vegetables according to size, color, shape and degree of maturity and place into field containers. Workers must use care when performing their farm work duties and exercise consciousness to not damage or bruise the fruit and vegetables. Workers must adhere to all safety rules as instructed by their supervisors and all farm work operations must meet the standards and specifications given by the employer. Workers will be assigned a row or series of rows and required to select and pick produce according to criteria outlined and demonstrated by managers such as size, coloring, and ripeness. They will be responsible for in-field grading and discarding of poor quality, rotting, and/or over-ripened produce. Workers will gently load the good quality produce into containers, taking care to avoid damage or bruising. Workers may carry full container weighing approximately fifty (50) lbs. and empty into field bin or load onto trailer The following duties may also be required: Operate, maintain and grease the washline. Position irrigation equipment and clear debris from ditches and field. If a hard rain occurs, workers will drain water from fields. Tasks will include riding a planter and refilling seed and fertilizer, and assist in adjustment and operate. General maintenance is required, including cleaning and greasing equipment and implements. They will aid harvester and unplug belts. Equipment to be utilized will also include chain saws and and sting trimmers. proper instruction will be provided. Duties will also involve farm shed maintenance which includes separating burnable materials.


EMPLOYER ASSURANCES:


BOARD ARRANGEMENTS: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so workers are able to prepare their own meals. The employer will provide transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries.


HOUSING: Employer-provided housing is available for all workers who live outside a reasonable daily driving distance.


TRANSPORTATION TO WORK SITE: The employer will provide transportation for all workers living in the employer-provided housing to and from the daily work site(s).


WORKERS COMPENSATION INSURANCE: Provided.


TOOLS, SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT: Tools, supplies, and equipment needed to complete the job will be provided by the employer at no cost to the worker.
