Position: Wastewater Plant Maintenance

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for maintaining buildings, pump stations, and process equipment at a wastewater treatment facility. This role supports operations through preventative maintenance, repairs, and hands-on work in both plant and field environments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with corrective maintenance work orders.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Perform lift station maintenance including operation, cleaning, and repairs.
- Support maintenance and operations staff in treatment and collection processes.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment and structures.
- Maintain equipment to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
- Perform general cleanup and upkeep of plant and facility areas.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid Ohio driver’s license with a safe driving record required.
- Ability to pass a drug screening.
- One (1) year of experience in mechanical/electrical maintenance preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
