JOB: Driver
Reports to: Transportation Supervisor
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Driver will ensure that clients are transported timely and safely to the designated location. Drivers are expected to be reliable, courteous, well-mannered, and polite, as you are interacting with our clients. Some functions of driver’s include, but are not limited to, the list below:
· Responsible for transporting clients in a timely manner
· May be assigned limited nights and weekends to accomplish duties
· Transport clients to and from destinations
· Arrive at a destination on schedule
· Research and plan for traffic, construction, and weather delays
· Use navigation applications to determine the best route
· Follow all traffic safety laws
· Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled, clean and ready for use
· Perform pre and post vehicle checks using software application at the beginning and end of every shift
· Utilize trip scheduling applications for daily driving routes
· Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed
· Keep mileage records and turn in all receipts weekly
· Always interact with clients professionally
· Follow the dress code policy
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Preferred experience in transportation services
· Safe driving record
· Excellent communication skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time
· Must be able to physically/manually/safely operate a vehicle
· Familiar and competent with computers and other productivity technology
· The person in this position constantly requires communication with employees, clients, and other persons in regard to completion of tasks and other issues
· Able to occasionally move items up to 25 lbs.
· Exposure to weather elements may be required to successfully complete tasks designated
