Beacon Hill's client, a highly regarded law firm, is seeking an experienced contract Litigation Attorney to support their team. This role is best suited for an attorney with 5+ years of litigation experience who can step in quickly and handle substantive work with minimal oversight.
* Location: Remote, Seattle preferred, open to West Coast candidates (California, Washington state, Oregon)
* Start: ASAP
* Duration: 6 months, with potential for extension
* Hours: 40 hours per week
* Pay: $80-$93/hour, depending on experience
Qualifications:
* Active bar license in good standing in state of residence (CA, WA, OR)
* 5+ years of litigation experience
* Strong drafting, discovery, and case analysis experience
* Deposition experience required (will not be appearing in court or taking depositions)
* Ability to work efficiently and independently
* Comfortable using AI tools
* Bonus experience includes bankruptcy court, Ponzi schemes, financial institution or financial services litigation, white collar defense, and investigations
Responsibilities may include:
* Analyzing cases and assessing merits, risks, and weaknesses
* Communicating and negotiating settlements
* Drafting complaints, demand letters, discovery, and motions to compel
* Preparing deposition outlines
* Supporting partners on litigation strategy and case development
