This role is responsible for leading nursing practice, ensuring high-quality, family-centered care, and optimizing clinic operations. You will collaborate closely with providers and administrative leaders to create an efficient, supportive, and patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership

* Lead and support registered nurses and clinical staff within the Fairfield Primary Care site

* Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality, evidence-based care

* Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and patient-centered practice

Operational Management

* Oversee daily clinic operations, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow efficiency

* Monitor access, patient flow, and clinic performance metrics

* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance patient and family experience

Team Development

* Recruit, onboard, and mentor clinical staff

* Provide coaching, performance management, and professional development support

* Foster staff engagement and retention through a positive work environment

Collaboration & Care Coordination

* Partner with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams

* Support care coordination and population health initiatives

* Ensure effective communication across teams and with families

Quality & Compliance

* Lead quality improvement initiatives and support regulatory readiness

* Ensure compliance with organizational policies, infection prevention, and safety standards

* Monitor documentation and clinical practices for consistency and excellence

Qualifications

* Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio (Kentucky license preferred based on system needs)

* Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred (MSN, MHA, or related field)

* Minimum 3-5 years of nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics or ambulatory/primary care

* Prior leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience strongly preferred

* Strong organizational, communication, and team leadership skills

Preferred Experience

* Pediatric primary care or ambulatory care environment

* Experience with quality improvement and workflow optimization

* Familiarity with EPIC or similar electronic health record systems
