Washington-Morgan Community Action has an opening for an Early Head Start Assistant Teacher in Washington County. This position is located in Marietta.
Hours and Pay
Monday-Friday 40 hours/week.
Wages dependent on Education/Experience. Comprehensive benefit package.
Key Responsibilities
Assist teacher in creating a safe and healthy environment for infants, toddlers & parents thereby enhancing development, providing encouragement and facilitating compliance with Early Head Start Performance Standards.
Education & Experience
Must have a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential; or state awarded certificate that meets or exceeds the requirements of a CDA credential; are enrolled in a program that will lead to an associate or bachelor's degree or; are enrolled in a CDA credential program to be completed within two years of hire date. Associate's preferred.
Requirements
Must clear BCI/FBI, Child Abuse Registry and Sexual Predatory Registry background checks.
Must have valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
