MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), and Alion Company, is seeking a Senior Level RF Systems Engineer to join our team supporting the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC). The successful candidate will have experience with hands-on evaluation, testing, diagnostics, and repair of search and track radar systems, air-to-air and surface-to-air missile systems, electronic warfare systems, and radio communication systems. The Sr. RF Systems Engineer must be able to work independently and in small teams. The qualified candidate should have experience in leading cross functional teams consisting of software, hardware, and mechanical team members. Your work location will be at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton Ohio. The typical work week will be Mon-Fri 8AM to 5PM. DoD security clearance is required.
Engineer with 15+ years of hands-on experience in the design, or reverse engineering, of various complex RF systems.
Working experience with microwave instrumentation and components operating in the 100 MHz to 40 GHz frequency range; to include: network and spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators, power meters, couplers, hybrids, etc.
Ability to develop test plans, analyze test data, write technical reports, and give technical presentations.
Must be a US citizen with or able to obtain a DoD TS/SCI security clearance
Self-Motivated and goal oriented
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Experience with Matlab, Altium, and AutoCad
Preferred additional skills:
Board Layout and PCB fabrication knowledge
Antenna Characterization utilizing near field software
Experience with MARTES application and associated recording systems
Familiarity with the theory and application of modern digital communications techniques
