The Bookkeeper’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain the General Ledger.
♦Issue of invoices to purchasing members.
♦Crediting of accounts once payment has been receive
♦Contact delinquent accounts in the manner & frequency provided by Management.
♦Schedule & remit payments to suppliers
Properly account for credits & debits on member or supplier accounts.
Reconcile bank, credit card & other statements.
Provide Management with regular financial & inventory reports.
Insure adequate funds are available to settle AP, & notify Management should a transfer be required.
Cooperate with auditors
Bring accounting discrepancies to the attention of Management.
Secure documents identified by Management as those being sensitive.
Maintain the petty cash fund (not to exceed $75) & document all activity.
Remit fees & deposits to Government agencies on a timely basis.
Perform other tasks as assigned by Management.
This is a non-exempt position.
