Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will be contributing to programs within Viasat, working along side full time engineers to develop an internal product or external customer, helping design team be more effective and efficient and supporting design team or supporting customer.


In this role you will be placed on an active design team to help develop communication system or communication system components. You will assist with developing in house design tools (automation tools, test tools). The work will be less theoretical work and more application implementation.



  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Physics or Applied Math.
  • Experience with Power converter, DC to DC, power circuit design/layout, stress analysis, worst case analysis.
  • Ability to commit to a 10-12 week internship


  • Experience with Digital Signal Processing (DSP), Digital Communications, Digital Design, Verilog, System Verilog, Matlab, Python, FPGA, ASIC, Universal Verification Methodology (UVM).
