Job Description:

Our company is searching for a motivated and experienced Customer Service Manager to provide outstanding customer service to our clients. To qualify for the role, the ideal candidate will have proven managerial experience and customer service experience, preferably in a technical field, along with a bachelor’s degree. In addition to being an excellent communicator (written and verbal), qualified candidates will also demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills. This position will be expected to effectively communicate the needs of customers to laboratory analysts and field personnel.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer service issues in a timely manner
  • Work as part of a team to solve problems and find solutions to meet clients’ needs
  • Read and interpret permits to determine required environmental sampling and monitoring
  • Provide quotes for environmental sampling and analytical services
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings and phone calls with customers to discuss services and up-coming projects
  • Create and communicate to staff effective customer service procedures, policies, and standards
  • Maintain accurate records and document all customer service activities and discussions
  • Project management including overseeing sample receipt and processing of samples


Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of proven experience in a customer service and/or managerial position
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Good understanding of management practices and techniques
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-Oriented
  • Bachelor’s in Business, Communications, or Science Related Fields
  • Candidate must be passionate about conservation and the environment
