Description

The Lead Integration Engineer is responsible for all technical elements of our HVAC sales engagements with HVAC OEM customers, with emphasis on variable speed, system controls and integrated solutions. This position is primarily focused on the Air Conditioning OEM market. The HVAC Integration Engineer will work closely with our OEM Sales and application engineering team to identify, understand and spec out solution opportunities. The HVAC Integration Engineer will be responsible for interfacing with customers on a technical level, to understand and guide the customers to acceptable solutions. Control logic/solution design along with power electronics / electro-mechanical integration/troubleshooting will be of primary importance. In addition, he or she will need to maintain liaison with product engineering & quality; review progress and evaluate results; and make changes in design or equipment for customers and operations when necessary.

 

Responsibilities

  • Leads integration of our system controls and products / solutions into OEM systems / applications.

  • Guide OEM in product selection, qualification and validation of electromechanical hardware.

  • Work closely with other business units to establish and maintain an in-depth knowledge of our compression control technologies and strategies.

  • Synergy with NPD team, for changes / product refinement to meet OEM needs.

  • Complex, problem resolution with customer (OEM, field, etc.) skilled problem solving

  • Manage development projects, serving the role of project manager as needed.

  • Support our embedded hardware and software design team to meet customer requirements.

  • Work with customers to provide continuing engineering support during all phases of a design through the life of the product.

  • Create and maintain technical documents and training material for internal and external use.

Schedule
We offer the flexibility of a core hour work schedule. Employees can flex their start and stop times given they are working during the core hours of 9:00 am 3:00 pm. Our teams work together to ensure their chosen work schedules are supporting our customers.
