SRC, Inc. is currently seeking a senior systems engineer to work out of their Dayton, OH office. As a senior systems engineer, you will work to advance system development efforts for cutting edge electronic warfare (EW) simulation/Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) products. Your responsibilities will include supporting the development of advanced EW software applications in both factory and field environments. As a member of the systems engineering team, you would play an integral role in a small, yet flourishing team responsible for supporting the intelligence and defense communities.

Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams (systems, hardware, software, firmware, and mechanical) to perform product conceptualization and problem solving
Work directly with customer, technical and program managers to manage requirements and schedule
Prepare and present technical and project status briefings to the customer
Lead engineering activities such as customer requirements analysis, functional design, system architecture, and product design synthesis
Lead the development of high level and detailed engineering design artifacts
Research adjacent technology areas, recommend, and work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to support development of new products/product enhancements
Utilize leading edge technology to assist business area in developing product roadmaps
Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, physics or related fields
Six or more (6+) years of experience in systems engineering, system design, and system architecture
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, think independently, and overcome technical challenges
Ability to clearly communicate abstract concepts to team members both verbally and in writing
Ability to work on multi-disciplinary engineering teams
Ability to work with customers to help develop and refine requirements
Strong analytical and teamwork skills
Knowledge and experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) concepts and tools (such as Artisan, Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody)
EW domain knowledge including understanding of radar, antenna design/analysis, radar signal processing and radar requirements analysis
Knowledge of configuration management and process standards (such as CMMI)
Exposure to Agile software development concepts and tools (such as JIRA)
Experience with DoD / government contractor projects
Experience leading a multi-disciplinary engineering team
Experience with waterfall and AGILE development methods
Experience interfacing directly with customers on a technical level
Experience mentoring entry level/junior engineers
