Medpace Reference Laboratories is currently seeking a full-time Supervisor in our Sample Management/Biorepository Department. This individual will be responsible for hands-on management of activities and sample management staff to ensure procedures are followed and project timelines are met.
Ensure efficient and effective operations of assigned areas and oversee employees working in these areas;
Plan, delegate, and organize specific areas and duties within Biorepository services/Sample management department;
Must ensure the appropriate level of regulatory compliance is followed within the group;
Represent Biorepository services/Sample management department at laboratory meetings;
Prepare and monitor process metrics and sample counts for accurate billing;
When appropriate, review sponsor program materials to account for area capabilities and resource provisions;
Maintain area inventory of supplies/materials and provide stewardship for reporting staff;
Provide advice and support to resolve specimen management and storage issues;
Revise and implement new policies and procedures for the sample management area;
Provide excellent communication behaviors with clients; and
Demonstrate strong leadership, intrapersonal and problem solving skills.
Supervise hourly employees
Bachelor's degree in a related field; and
Minimum 3 years industry experience.
Monday-Friday (Some Saturdays on an "as needed" basis)
