About the Opportunity

This is an open position with FirstEnergy Solutions, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. [FES]

The Internet / Social Media Analyst position is in the Sales and Marketing Group under Government Aggregation and Mass Marketing.   The Analyst will be responsible for developing and managing Internet and social media content.  This individual will assess technical issues and manage data interfaces within the web construct.  This individual will have prior work product and proven experience in building, updating and activating web pages. 

Responsibilities include:                                          

Create, manage, update and test web pages 
Work with internal and external vendors to develop new formats and build on current construct
Act as an interface with IT to produce and upload work products
Develop initial drafts of content and communications material
Review and test changes and updates
Assess success of web programs through data pulls, financial tools and critical thinking.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, IT, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline is required
Minimum of 2 – 4 years related professional work experience is required
Demonstrated strong analytical ability and critical thinking
Internet and Social media content creation and updating experience
Web relational database experience
Experience with database queries or database management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Word)
Demonstrated project management skills (Analyst III)
Proven track record of success in fast-paced, high-growth, independent environment (Analyst III)
