HEALTH COACH I: This position is responsible for providing face-to-face, telephonic and/or internet-based coaching services to clients across the wellness-illness continuum. This position can demonstrate clinical ability to: Build a coaching relationship with client; Assess client's needs; Provide coaching service with competence in a variety of coaching techniques and/or models that matches the client's stage of readiness to change; Determine potential for null or negative outcome and adjust coaching accordingly; Determine and provide relevant community and/or healthcare resources that help support client's solution for change; Help client work towards forming solutions for health improvement are or problem; Establish a plan of action and realistic weekly goals with client; Work within a team of coaching professionals in a way that supports a positive outcome for all clients. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree
EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years Wellness/health coaching or related
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Thorough knowledge of principles of health behavior change, health coaching, and wellness coordination. Proficiency with using Microsoft software programs.
