Job Description: Will oversee the maintenance of employee records, including personnel status updates, terminations & new hires. Will analyze & provide recommendations to the Executive Director regarding benefits to establish competitive programs & ensure compliance with legal requirements. Will administer salary, benefits & management systems & safety & wellness programs. Will advise Executive Director on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity & sexual harassment & recommend needed changes. Will process new employee hiring paperwork & schedule required training & employment requirements needed to perform their job duties. Will serve as a link between management & employees by handling questions, interpreting & helping resolve human resource-related problems. Will analyze training needs for employee development, & health & safety programs. Will maintain records & compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data, such as hires, trainings & turnover rates. Will assist Executive Director & managers with analyzing & developing recommendations for improvement of organization’s personnel policies & practices. Will prepare & review with Executive Director & managers on personnel-related hearings & investigations. Will monitor the evaluation, classification & rating of occupations & job positions. Will maintain strict confidentiality at all times. Will be responsible for completing other duties assigned by the Executive Director. Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to) monitoring & processing employee training & licensure employment requirements. Will lead & direct the work of others. Must possess the administrative abilities to deal with employment compliance issues & ensure compliance with EEO, FMLA, ADA & other federal & state guidelines.
Details: Workdays are Monday thru Friday, 1st Shift. Starting wages based on experience, education, skills & abilities.
Qualifications: Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a related area & at least 5 years of experience in Human Resources. Must have proficient computer/internet search knowledge & be fluent in MS Word & Excel; have good telephone etiquette, strong interpersonal communication & have excellent persuasive writing skills. Must have the ability to communicate with the general public & staff in a clear & concise manner. Must be a self-starter & possess a wide degree of creativity. Must be able to rely on experience & judgment to plan & accomplish goals. Must be willing to work flexible hours & have the ability to manage multiple projects. Must be willing to travel.
