  • Coordinate with vendors and the other Airgas teams for conducting gap analysis, building functional and technical specifications, and performing design
  • Test and evaluate applications as well as new functionality of existing application
  • Coordinate with vendors and business users for production support of the OSI PI  functionality and the associated infrastructure
  • Business process analysis, documentation, and presentation
  • Understanding of networking, infrastructure and system security fundamentals
  • Understand and follow project and software methodologies and processes and assist with aligning project needs with the process
  • Interaction with users from various functional areas
  • Work with Customers to ensure successful implementation OSI PI and related projects
  • Interaction with vendors and the other Airgas teams to define functional and technical requirements including business impact and ROI
  • Assist business in developing procedures, processes and guidelines that are efficient and focused on the quality of the process or end-state deliverable
  • Learn new technologies to help provide the right solutions to customers
  • Perform at a high level to provide solutions to customer’s problems by going the extra mile

What You'll Bring to the team:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment working with Industrial IT applications including, but not limited to, SCADA systems, PLCs, Telemetry, interfaces with ERP such as SAP, Enterprise Historian application such as OSIsoft PI
  • Experience in Information Technology systems analysis function, such as working with end-users to build test scenarios, conducting testing and developing procedures
  • Experience with implementing data historians is a plus
  • Knowledge of SAP applications is a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills; ability to lead discussions, present ideas to audiences of all sizes, and interact with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability and flexibility to quickly learn new applications and software
  • Ability to work with external vendors as well as internal teams or independently to resolve issues and implement changes
  • Experienced in leading / project managing specific pieces of work, people and/or deliverables
  • Proficiency with the Google suite
  • Solid organization, time management, and project estimating skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, both as an individual contributor and as a team member
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required
