Job Description

Summary:
Counts and verifies all Table Games drop boxes, Slot Machine Bill Validator, Food, and Beverage drop. Prepares appropriate paperwork and makes necessary computer entries. Responsible for collecting slot drop and bill validator drop. Performs slot weighing and coin wrapping process. Transports wrapped and counted coin to vault. Prepares booth and main bank buys. Test all scales at booth and in the hard count room daily.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
A. Responsible for accurate accountability of the cashier department activity
B. Performing in a pleasant, efficient, an honest manner at all times
C. Will also be responsible for accurately completing and updating electronic MTL/MIL and chip bank
D. Accurately process Poker Room activity; verification of front line cashier transactions over $1,000.00; verification of hand-to-hand transactions between cashiers; conduct transactions with other departments as needed, in the absence of Assistant Supervisor or above
E. This position must be able to perform Cashier duties as needed
F. Understanding department objectives, standards, and guidelines
G. Knowledgeable of casino policies for all cashier areas
H. Maintaining security and accountability over all funds, to include chips, coins, tokens, cash currency, foreign cash currency and paperwork
I. Observing and verify funds received and disbursed to other departments, guests and transactions between cashiers
J. Verifying all Cashier and Main Bank paperwork is accurately completed prior to sending to accounting/audit
K. All internal guests must be treated with prompt, courteous and friendly service
L. Flexible schedule and must be willing to assist in any cashiering area as needed and instructed to do so by the Cashier Lead/Supervisor on duty
M. Ensuring accurate compliance with E-MTL/MIL paperwork and entry
N. Processing table fills and credits per requests
O. Processing Poker Room transactions
P. Performing the duties of front line cashiers as business demands
Q. Performing check cashing transactions
R. Thorough knowledge of the paid in/out guidelines
S. Working with Vault to ensure timely process of buys
T. Balancing shift cage paperwork for Slots, Table games, Front Windows, and other miscellaneous departments

Education and/or Experience:

A. High school diploma or equivalent

G. Ability to accurately identify and cash different denominations of gaming tokens, currency, chips, etc

L. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
