Job Description
The Digital Marketing Analyst 2 is accountable for comprehensive data analysis and strategic insights to help accelerate the sales growth and profitability of paid and organic search, display advertising, social media, and other digital marketing channels. This role will work closely with Marketing Campaigns and Business Intelligence functions to understand current business problems and develop reporting to better the business. This role will also help address the complex challenges of marketing effectiveness, attribution, ROI, optimization strategies, prospect behavior, and campaign effectiveness.
Analyze data across multiple platforms to identify opportunities for developing digital marketing campaigns and reporting significant trends
Lead digital campaign management - ability to create landing pages, optimize web pages, generate leads, create PPC, and social media campaigns to drive traffic towards landing pages
Manage, organize, and present KPI reporting across paid search, display, SEO, and other digital channels while delivering both regular and ad hoc reports
Engage in the planning, execution, and assessment of lead generation activities for business units and product lines globally
Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of landing pages, display banner, ad copy, and other creative assets
Engage in the development and tracking of buyer personas for the delivery of personalized content on the company's website
Oversee the spend plan of all digital efforts (Ad budget)
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Finance, or related degree, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
5 years' experience in digital marketing and B2B marketing
5 years' experience utilizing a CRM system
Certification in Google Analytics and Google Ads (AdWorks/Data Studio)
Marketing experience in the Power, Industrial, and/or Engineering industry is a plus
Preferred exposure to the following: Sitecore, Sitecore Analytics, Photoshop, Google Data Studio, MS Ads (Bing, Yahoo, Internet Explorer), MS Dynamics, Social media analytics and/or tool (Hootsuite, Hubspot, etc.), and PowerBI
An ideal candidate for this role will possess all or most of the following characteristics:
Strong quantitative skills required to analyze and optimize campaign performance
Digital marketing analytical skills
Deep understanding of key digital marketing metrics
Knowledge of Facebook and LinkedIn Ad platform
Firm understanding of online user behavior and site experience
Proficient in MS Office
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
High level of attention to detail
