Provides psychosocial assessment andintervention to assist patients and families with adjustment to health careneeds.
Effectively communicates within thework team and collaborates with a multi-disciplinary approach.
Provides linage with communityresources to assist the patient in the transition from hospital to dischargelocation.
Actively involved in professionalintegration and self-development in the social services field.
Demonstrate knowledge of principlesof growth and development over the life span and uses this informationappropriately when interacting with and treating patients.

Qualifications
PositionRequirements:
Two (2) years' experience in ahospital setting desirable. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills andexcellent communication skills both written and verbal, as well as, exhibitingstrong organizational skills and work ethic. Demonstrates a professionaldemeanor when responding to patients/customers.
EducationRequirements:
Master's degree from an accreditedSchool of Social Work
LicenseRequirements:
Licensed by the State of OhioCounselor and Social Work board at the LSW level; attainment of LISW status isencouraged within one year of eligibility
PreferredQualifications:
Post-Master's experience is strongly preferred. Previous work with pediatrics is also preferred. Schedule is Thursdaysand Fridays, 9:00am-5:30pm for a total of 16 hours per week.
