JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
The purpose of this position is to promote good clinical and ethical practices in the conduct of Food and Drug Administration and Dept. of Health and Human Services regulated clinical research. Provides research-related patient care. Collaborates with investigators, sponsor and others in planning and implementing protocol procedures. Ensures that the conduct of research conforms to federal regulations and hospital policy.
RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of NursingRegistered Nurse (RN) in the State of Ohio, Bachelor's of science in Nursing ( BSN) or RN with 1 year of management Experience . Skills needed for this position are fundamental nursing skills e. g., the ability to give injections, start intravenous solutions, etc. ; ability to educate and obtain informed consent from research subjects; strong organizational skills; and a strong ethic as it relates to human subjects research. Knowledge of Federal regulations as they relate to research. Familiarity with word-processing and spreadsheet computer applications. At least 1 years Experience as an RN clinical research coordinator. Ability to work with physicians. Three years clinical nursing Experience in a hospital unit. A strong work ethic is a must.
