Newpark was founded in 1932 as a mining company in Park City, Utah and is now headquartered in The Woodlands, TX. We have grown into a global technology leader in not only the oil and gas market but many others as well. *Ability to work on variety of fleet(diesel engines, pickups, semi's, trailers, skid steers, etc.)
*Ability to have flexible hours. (on-call & rotating shifts).
*Oil & gas experience preferred
*Valid driver's license required
High school diploma or educational equivalent. 1 year experience. General knowledge of mechanical operating procedures & processes. Good analytical skills. Mechanic certification preferred.
Under general supervision, maintains assigned trucks, ships, & related equipment in accordance with operating specifications. Routinely welds, paints & refurbishes equipment. Conducts mechanical inspections. May use moderately complex diagnostic equipment. Maintains records. Handles special projects as assigned.
