Position Summary: Supervises employees who perform the maintenance & installation operation of electrical & mechanical equipment & machinery used in company operations. Schedules activities & maintains inventory of spare parts. May establish preventative maintenance program.  May perform maintenance service or repairs within a facility which involve two or more of the following: plumbing, carpentry, painting and plastering, service of machinery, electrical repairs or installations, or servicing of automobiles or trucks.  Evaluates & gives performance feedback to individuals. Facilitates conflict resolution. Handles special projects, as assigned

Essential Functions: Considerable knowledge of the principles, practices, tools & methods of automotive, truck, & heavy equipment repairs; considerable knowledge of the design & adjustment of a variety of automotive, truck, & construction equipment; skill in the repair of automotive, truck, & construction equipment.  Ability to work on diesel engines, pickups, semis, trailers, skid steers, etc.  Ability to maintain preventative maintenance, as well as forecast for daily maintenance.  Determines & orders parts required to complete repair work & maintains purchase records within authorized budget. Prepares inspection records & requisitions for parts and equipment.  Evaluates assigned work projects, including materials & staff resources needed to perform the work; estimates time, materials, and equipment necessary for the successful completion of work projects; acquires necessary resources as appropriate.  Provides lead direction & training to lower-level staff; oversees personnel needs of the department including selecting, coaching, disciplining, & training employees & evaluating employee performance. Provides input into termination, compensation, & promotion decisions.  Perform job duties & functions with flexibility in the event circumstances shift, i.e., emergencies, changes in personnel, workload, rush jobs or technology developments.  Provides recommendations for contracted services; oversees the work of contracted services to ensure compliance with service agreement & work quality consistent with Company standards & expectations.  Follows safe working practices & makes appropriate use of related safety equipment as required.  State inspection preferred.  Oil & Gas experience preferred.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or educational equivalent w/ a minimum of 6 years maintenance experience. Good communication & interpersonal skills. Good technical skills. Knowledge of machinery & equipment.  Supervisory experience preferred.
