Primary Purpose: Provide operational supervision and coordination of multiple activities for areas of Bed Control, Transfer and Physican Referral Center (TPRC), Scheduling and Census. Coordinate TPRC marketing visits and maintain communication/correspondence with outside hospitals. Serve as physician contact for TPRC concerns. Perform and track TPRC improvement metrics.
Knowledge and Skills
Education: Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, minimum required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Years of Experience: Three to five years equivalent experience.
Required Skills and Knowledge: Computer literacy skills are required and knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Must have excellent, communication skills to enable clear and competent interaction with employees, physicians, nursing staff, other hospital personnel, patients and their relatives. Must be decisive, flexible, organized and function well in a fast paced, stressful and sensitive environment. Should be able to deal appropriately with conflict and resolve problems with diplomacy. Should have excellent organizational and time-management skills.
