Job Description: Will perform repairs & maintenance to fleet vehicles in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state & federal regulations & company policies. Will perform inspections, diagnosis & repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake & air systems on company vehicles & equipment.  Will utilize the vehicle computer electronics system to interpret failure modes & initiate and/or assign repairs.  Will perform all work within standard repair times & report any deviations to the Supervisor.  Completes day-to-day tasks under limited supervision.

Details: Hours will be off-shift to accommodate access fleet, including weekends & holidays with a 4-day rotating work week (Sundays off).  REQUIRED TO USE OWN TOOLS.

Qualifications: Must be at least 18+ years old, Have a HS Diploma/equivalent w/ a valid drivers license & a positive driving record & proven experience working with diesel and/or CNG-fueled equipment.  Must be able to do lifting between 50 to 75 lbs. consistently.  Must have knowledge of the following: Air Brakes, Steering & Suspension, Hydraulic Systems, Drive Train Components, Electrical Systems, DOT Rules & Regulations.  Must have the ability to read & understand repair manuals, wiring diagrams & schematics necessary to troubleshoot or repair vehicle or component failure.  Must have the ability to perform physical requirements of the job (prolonged physical exertions, including but not limited to standing, lifting pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, kneeling, climbing & working in awkward positions & tight areas).  Must have the ability to drive service vehicles & vehicles in & out of service area.
