Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/familiesusing the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain,and sustain optimal health status.

Dimensions are:

Position Requirements:
Thorough knowledge of nursing process and practice. Uses a wide varietyof technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies(i.e. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoringdevices.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Minimum of Diploma/Associate's Degreein nursing from accredited program. Nurses with Associates Degree/Diplomawill commit at the time of hire to complete a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSN)or higher in Nursing within 5 years of hire.

Note:  Fall 2019, Winter2019/2020 and Spring 2020 nursing school graduates are eligible to apply.Education and degree verification will be required upon receiving a joboffer.

License Requirements:
An Ohio RN license is not required to be considered for this position.If selected to move forward, employment offers may be made contingent oncandidate successfully obtaining RN license within time frame discussed at thetime of offer acceptance.

Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American HeartAssociation, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.

Preferred Qualifications:
BSN strongly preferred. Workexperience in the unit you are applying to in UAP capacity (STNA, PCNA, NA II,etc.) and/or a practicum/preceptorship is strongly preferred.
