The Technical Recruiter is responsible for managing the entire recruiting process and talent strategy within their territory. This includes finding, recruiting, hiring and retaining talented candidates.
Actively planning, developing and implementing a productive Talent Acquisition strategy within your market.
Network, build relationships and sell the Digital Innovation Brand within the technical community, DI sponsored events, Partner events and community organizations (i.e. user groups, meetups, career fairs etc.).
Work with the Sales team to collaborate with clients to understand current and potential future needs
Maintain a strong pipeline of high caliber candidates for fulfillment of future needs
Target, pursue, meet and work with the delivery and sales leadership team to close top performing candidates for full-time opportunities.
Design, plan and execute selection processes (source and find qualified candidates, conduct interviews and screening calls etc.).
Organize and involve the appropriate employees in the interview process.
Manage the offer process.
Work with HR and Recruiting Coordinators to ensure incoming candidate’s paperwork is completed.
Schedule and conduct the New Employee Orientation during a new employee’s first week with the company.
Identify any bottlenecks in the recruiting process and work towards a positive resolution.
Be a culture curator within your offices/regions (e.g. foster open communication and a culture of diversity/inclusion).
Continually look for ways to improve the candidate experience.
Suggest measures for improving employee retention.
Education, Experience, and Skills Required
Ability to creatively attract top performers in the industry and a passion for creating new channels for candidate engagement
Ability to perform complex candidate online searches (LinkedIn, Job Boards etc.)
A Team Player
Proven, multi-year Talent Acquisition experience and past recruiting success within the assigned market
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Experience with posting jobs on social media and job boards
Ability to write reports, business correspondences, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
A wide range of skills including: strong communication skills, good written skills, self motivation and self-directed; a broad technical understanding; good organizational skills; good sales skills; professional image; energetic and enthusiastic.
