Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
Role: Hourly, starting rate $24.54
SCOPE OF POSITION
The Rail Loader will have the primary function to unload & load rail cars and ensure the cars are suitable for transportation outside the manufacturing facility. They will focus on both safety and customer service
Inspect incoming and outgoing rail cars for suitability for loading and shipping.
Unload and load rail cars as directed.
Operate Trackmobile to move and position rail cars.
inspecting of rail cars.
Perform routine maintenance of Unloading/ Loading equipment, Trackmobile, and rail cars.
When not needed for rail duties, perform plant maintenance consistent with training and abilities.
Other duties assigned by Maintenance Supervisor.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Previous Maintenance experience desired.
Ability to communicate with courtesy and tact when furnishing or obtaining information from bothcolleagues and other departments.
Must have an understanding of units of measure and weight and perform conversions.
Computer Skills - Windows Operating System and Word/ Excel Programs
Must possess excellent attention to detail

May need to climb, pull self upward, kneel, stoop, crawl, crouch or balance on unstable surfaces.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be fit and able to wear Respirator and Rain Gear with other safety equipment.
Must be able to work in the outdoor elements including cold, heat and humidity.
