ABB is seeking a Business Communications Specialist, IA Service for its Cleveland, Ohio location. The Communication Specialist  will work in a team that is dedicated to create a future of innovative services to IA customers. This role is responsible for developing and executing local marcom plans for the US market that are aligned with local business goals, industry segment goals and overall strategy of ABB. The person in this position will serve as a trusted colleague and partner to the local Business Line management teams, Product Market Managers, Global Marcom team and Industry Segment sales and marketing leads as required.
                        Your responsibilities
                                Develop and execute local marcom strategy and activities that align with local Business Line objectives, Industry segment goals and ABB's strategy. In conjunction with Product Market Managers, develop sales enablement tools, collateral and activities appropriate for the local market and channels. Possessing the following is necessary toward the success of the selected candidate to this position and to ABB/s local objectives.
                                Translate global content or create local content when needed to support campaigns locally, including value propositions, webinars, success stories, newsletters, brochures, catalogs and online content.
                                Serve as the Business communications lead for strategic ABB events in the US, and support as required business line inputs for US events, including onsite support as needed.
                                Responsible for coordination and harmonization of the communication material according to local Business Lime requirements/guidelines.
                                Drive the creation of all marketing collateral including definition of common templates.
                                Collaborate with key functions including the global Marketing communication, sales and marketing and customer experience to support the development of effective materials for target audience.
                                Offer new and innovative ideas to reach target customers, respectively challenging historical activities and status quo.
                                Work with Country Communicators to ensure local business communication plans and campaigns are aligned with the global marketing communications strategies, plans and campaigns.
                                Ensure message (e.g. value propositions) and branding compliance and consistency.

                        Your background
                                Bachelor's degree and 8 years of industrial, or  marketing, or communications, or project managment experience.
                                Excellent copywriting and editing skills, able to simplify complex technical contents into appealing marketing messages and content.
                                English as native language.
                                Desire to seek out new and innovative communications techniques, tools and approaches.
                                Comfortable interacting with senior leaders as well as technical specialists.
                                Experience in event management.
                                Candidates must already have work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in United States.
