MTSI is seeking senior level candidates who have a broad understanding of DoD and Air Force acquisition, operations, logistics, engineering, and test to provide support to AFLCMC acquisition program offices. The candidate will provide direct support to the customer that span all acquisition phases.
Experience in United States Air Force and Department of Defense (DoD) program management that spans the entire Defense Acquisition System, from initial program development through sustainment and disposal.
Knowledge and understanding of DoDI 5000.02 and AFI 63-101/20-101.
Knowledge of Air Force Materiel Command and Air Force Life Cycle Management Center policies, processes, and procedures.
Experience with Integrated Master Schedules, PPBE process, Earned Value Management, and Risk Management.
Experience with preparation of Statements of Work (SOW) and Performance Work Statements (PWS).
Strong organizational and leadership skills --- ability to conduct analyses, identify discrepancies, and provide corrective action plans.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the desire to be a part of an integrated team of both government and contractor personnel.
Strong Problem Solving and Creative Thinking skills --- strong Multi-Tasker with the ability to communicate clearly.
DoD ACAT I program management experience.
Experience working in AFLCMC aircraft program offices.
Experience with Fighter Aircraft acquisition, sustainment, logistics, and supply chain management.
Joint, Air or MAJCOM Staff experience.
Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) Level III Certification in Program Management.
Bachelor’s degree with (15) years of experience, or a
Master's Degree with (8) years of experience
Clearance Requirements: Secret Clearance required, TS desired
