About the team

The team you will be working for deals with our Merchants who have a special banking relationship with FIS. We have over 25 major banking partners, and the list continues to grow. We deal with multiple issues on daily basis, ranging from basic customer service inquires, as well as assisting with their terminal issues. We work with other parts of the Call Center for Escalations, as well as assisting with additional duties. Our team also participates in testing new programs before rolling them out to the Operations Colleagues.

What you will be doing

You will be working with a group of Merchants that have elected to set up their Credit Card processing with their bank, who partners with Worldpay from FIS. You will be providing exceptional Customer Service through inbound or outbound phone calls daily. You will assist and troubleshoot the merchants issues with their terminals or customer service related issues. You may be asked to assist other teams with their cases, as down time allows.

 Provide customer support by phone, email or instant message to business customers. Serves as primary contact for inbound customer issues.
Troubleshoots customer problems, identifies the root cause of the problem and uses tools and resources appropriately to determine how to resolve customer problems.
Meets standards of job, such as quality standards, adherence to schedule and average handle time.
May provide guidance and/or mentoring to less experienced associates.
Other related duties assigned as needed.

Computer navigation and operations skills
Ability to work both independently, as well as in a team environment
Demonstrate effective people skills and sensitivities when dealing with others

Banking or financial industry experience
Experience working with a high volume call center with high profile clients.
