We are seeking a Home Visitor - The Home Visitor is responsible for providing general child and family advocacy, interventions, counseling support and prevention services to individuals.

What Will You Be Doing?

Facilitates non-leading interviews to children using the most appropriate techniques.
Collaborates effectively with interdisciplinary team to identify, assess, and report suspected child abuse as required by law, with particular attention to risk reduction and prevention.
Demonstrates the appropriate use of mental health interventions when working with children and parents.
Manages subpoenas effectively and provides court testimony as appropriate.
Understands and appreciates linguistically appropriate approaches and demonstrates awareness of diversity issues and provides culturally sensitive services to children and families.


What Are We Looking For?

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess these minimum qualifications and experience:

Bachelor degree in Social Work, Counseling, and related fields from an accredited university or professional school.
Appropriate Ohio licensure (LSW) required.
Home Visiting Certification preferred, not required.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.
Mandated Reporting Requirements.
General knowledge of family violence and sexual victimization.

This is a home visiting position, requiring auto insurance  minimal coverage requirements of $100,000 liability per person, $300,000 per accident, and $50,000 property damage.
