OhioMeansJobs|Cleveland-Cuyahoga County is currently sourcing Sr. Business Analyst candidates for producer of snack foods and sweetened milk products.

Position Summary:

This is a senior level position requiring technical skills to carry out complex system analysis, design, testing and documentation. The candidate will have the professional experience required to work directly with the user community, reviewing assigned business processes from end to end to identify and address operational, financial, and technical risks, providing recommendations, analysis and systems-based solutions. Taking general direction form the Director of Application Development, the candidate will be responsible for various sized projects, assist with escalated day-to-day issues, and working as a team member and/or individually.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Act as a senior member of teams handling large projects, by providing analysis, execution and improvement action plans
  • Work independently with the user community, providing analysis and recommendations for problem resolution
  • Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs
  • Write functional specifications and training materials in compliance with department standards
  • Work with and provide assistance to other staff members in problem resolution, change control and compliance, testing and debugging
  • Provide project level analysis – producing required project analysis documentation (business requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state proposals, UAT plan)
  • Identify ways to increase system adoption and customer satisfaction
  • Create and maintain, meeting minutes, meeting schedules, project schedules, plans, summaries and updates
  • Support system conversion, upgrades and enhancements


  • College degree is preferred, with 5+ years’ experience working on large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operation requests from the business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, required
  • Proven organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task. Must be able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, investigate, research, troubleshoot, resolve, and document with all levels of management and staff
  • Data analysis – Must have proficiency with SQL, Microsoft Excel
  • Basic Understanding of EDI required
  • Basic Understanding of Trade Performance Management preferred
  • Experience with integration of data between disparate systems required
  • Experience with the Consumer Package Goods (CPG)/Food & Beverage Industry preferred
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience with any of the following systems or certifications: Infor/M3, Infor User Experience Tools, Hyperion, Six Sigma, CPIM
