Job Description

DESCRIPTION
The Business Development Manager will grow the Haystack pipeline. He/she will serve as an integral part in shaping Haystack's agile marketing strategy as well as in building and maintaining client relationships.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Business Development:

Develop and grow your own client base by marketing our services for staffing solutions
Market to clients via telephone and email as well as conduct in-person meetings with key decision makers
Participate in networking events to grow Haystack's presence in the local business community

Placement Activities:

Work with the client and Haystack recruiters to generate accurate requirements
Help facilitate client feedback when necessary
Resolve any customer service issues quickly and efficiently to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction
Meet and exceed weekly, quarterly, and yearly business development goals

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Demonstrated success and passion for technology solutions development, deployment, and customer interaction
Must have the ability to multi-task and persevere in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
Must have a portfolio of proven strategic selling successes and be a competitive, self-motivated individual
Effective communication and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to be a thought leader and proactive team player in strategic business development

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to travel when required
Must have the ability to be flexible and agile regarding evolving customer needs, markets, timelines, and financial pressures

REQUIREMENTS

Four or more (4+) years in business development or in IT
Must have a proven track record of closing skills and the ability to build client relationships
A combination of business development and account management skills are required
Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

PREFERRED

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
Experience working with technologies companies
Experience selling to HR or Recruiting departments
Experience competing RFPs for large enterprises
