Job Summary





Our clinical operations activities are growing rapidly, and we are currently seeking a full-time, office-based Investigator Grant Revenue Manager to join our Clinical Operations team. This is a newer position with tremendous visibility within the company that plays a critical role in the monthly/quarterly Investigator Grant (IG) Revenue Recognition (Rev Rec) process, including the estimation, analysis, and forecasting of IG revenue/expenses. This role also supports the company’s continued growth through generation of IG budgets for new projects via the Request for Proposal process.  We are looking for detail-oriented, self-motivated individuals who are seeking a leadership opportunity to manage day-to-day IG Revenue activities while driving significant process improvement initiatives that will provide benefits across the company.    



Responsibilities





Own and manage all facets of the monthly/quarterly Investigator Grant (IG) Revenue Recognition (Rev Rec) process, including the estimation, analysis, and forecasting of IG revenue/expenses for Phase I-IV clinical research projects;
Lead team of Budget Analysts in executing daily department operations and strategy for achieving long-term department initiatives;
Strategize and partner across multiple departments to build streamlined, scalable, well-controlled target-state systems, processes, and reporting in support of IG Rev Rec objectives and other internal/external reporting needs;
Manage IG portion of Request for Proposal (RFP) process;
Develop and monitor KPIs and other applicable trends;
Work with External/Internal Auditors as part of their normal course reviews



Qualifications





Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with at least five years of related experience. CPA strongly preferred.
Must have strong, demonstrated experience with the following:

Ability to understand and analyze complex relationships between numerous, dynamic data points, how this impacts the Company’s Rev Rec processes, and use this understanding to build accurate/complete estimates/forecasts
Clearly present complicated topics to diverse audiences in both oral and written form
Ability to make decisions based on limited information and prior experience
Consistent focus on details and extra effort/hustle
Process improvement
Supervisory/leadership skills
Excellent organization skills and the ability to multitask while efficiently and independently completing high quality work;
Excellent computer skills, with an advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Prior experience in the conduct of clinical research preferred;
Basic knowledge of medical terminology and a working knowledge of drug development services desired
