About the team

The Revenue Technology Office (RevTech) delivers sales-focused software, database and analytics products to thousands of employees. FIS Global is seeking a meticulous Unified Sales Data Product Manager with sales experience and proven technical capabilities. You will build a powerful internal data and prescriptive analytics ecosystem that will enrich insights produced by data analysts. Additionally, you will help devise a stellar user experience by leveraging your business background to collaborate with executives and sales people. ?The ideal candidate will have a very strong passion for technology, data and detail along with a natural talent for customer service. You have a solid understanding of enterprise financial technology and data, either from selling to financial markets customers or building products for them. You are a people-person and a technologist with an insatiable thirst for learning.?

What you will be doing

You will be addressing stakeholder needs throughout the sales cycle by using agile product management principles to deliver Data Products to be used by Sales Analysts and others who provide insights and analytics on sale people, sales leaders, business leaders and executives.  We capture data from a variety of sources in to create standardized, scheduled analytics & reports with data visualization tools and self-service data exploration tools for ad-hoc analysis.

Ensure Data products meet customer needs by:

Leveraging experience as an enterprise sales person, preferably as a sales leader, to drive the development of features with the highest business value.
Translating feedback from internal business customers into technical acceptance criteria that can easily be produced by developers.
Prototyping solutions for data-specific projects and testing results with customers.?
Experience overseeing business analysis through the development of user stories and detailed acceptance criteria for developer handoff & QA disciplines.
Replicating and cross-checking the calculations supplied by subject matter experts, responsible for financial reporting.
Ensure the quality of functional and user acceptance testing is executed in partnership with engineering.
Manage customer expectations by:
Using non-technical terminology to explain the need for a specific technical approach and clearly explaining trade-offs and potential return on investment for different options.
Providing progress updates on the planned data products backlog.

What you bring:

Deep experience and vision for CRM Systems
5+ years' experience in technology project management or business analysis
Working knowledge of data storage technologies, like relational databases, columnar databases, and key-value stores and advanced SQL programming
Ability to comprehend complex data environments and their dependencies
Subject matter expertise and ability to engage with business users in developing business requirements and translating those to technical specifications
Ability to manage product lifecycle using the agile methodologies for effective delivery of results (SCRUM, Kanban etc.)
Past projects involving Data Modeling
Solid understanding of financial markets, participants and technologies
Strong oral and written communication skills
