What You Can Expect

As a Project Manager, you will have ownership over the successful planning, implementation, and delivery of multiple client projects, and the management of all resources and deliverables of the project teams. You will also be the business leader, ensuring that the business objectives are well defined, you will gather and clearly articulate business and process requirements, and ensure the necessary technical resources are aligned to build the solution.

You will utilize standardized processes and documents, ensuring quality delivery along the way. You will create, update, and maintain all documentation including charters, work plans, timelines, issue/risk logs, budgets, requirements, business processes, and test plans. You will have to effectively leverage the expertise of subject matter experts and team leads in order to assemble project activities and tasks into an organized work breakdown and associated project schedule. When changes arise, you will manage project scope change management procedures. You will be responsible for gathering and managing requirements, updating client business processes, perform testing, and coordinate client training. You will obtain all approvals related to client sign-off on project documents and deliverables along the way.

Project teams and clients are spread across multiple locations and times zones, so active and effective communication is essential, which means you will engage your project team regularly – keeping a positive team environment top of mind. You will also be the client lead and main point of contact communicating with director level management, clients, project stakeholders, and project sponsors to keep all project stakeholders up to date. Being a mentor to project members, you will look to develop team member’s communication and problem-solving skills.

The platform capabilities continue to grow as the industry evolves, so keeping up-to-date is essential. To keep at the top of your field, you will remain current on industry and technology trends, the competitive landscape, and new platform capabilities. Best practices and guidelines will be actively maintained.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to tailor communications to a level of detail appropriate for the audience
• Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills, strong work ethic, self-motivated, and excellent presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects for multiple clients simultaneously, across multiple locations and time zones
• Consulting skills such as interviewing stakeholders, facilitating meetings, and negotiating skill
• Complete understanding and proven use of project management methodology and tools
• Experience managing software platform projects, such as SalesForce, ServiceNow, or SharePoint
• Solid business and financial skills
• Ability to work independently, but also successfully work on a team
• Detail oriented and sound independent judgment
• Technology enthusiast always learning new skills and capabilities
• Advanced knowledge of Project Management best practices and successful project implementations as a leader
• Bachelor’s Degree in technical or business field
• 5+ years of IT experience
• 3+ years of software project management experience

• Experience managing projects in the Customer Service or Call Center industry
• Experience working in a consulting firm
