Job Description

     The Solon, OH facility employees approximately 180 salary and hourly employees. The HR Coordinator is an integral part of the department and assists with a variety of HR functions, while working closely with the HR Manager. The department delivers full-cycle human resources services.
     JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include but are not limited to the following.
      * Work safely at all times
      * Provide administrative support to HR Manager
      * Prepare bi-weekly hourly payroll in ADP. Review exception reports daily. Process payroll corrections or additions as needed. Make changes in ADP as needed
      * Prepare bi-weekly salaried non-exempt payroll in WorkBrain. Review exception reports daily. Process payroll corrections or additions as needed
      * Recruit, screen, and on-board hourly employees and set them up in the system
      * Maintain employee files to ensure compliance
      * Prepare documentation and submit changes for a variety of different personnel actions (promotions, terminations, leave of absence, etc.)
      * Track attendance and monitor call-offs daily
      * Manage job bid posting process
      * Provide information to employees concerning benefits and company policies
      * Track FMLA usage and documentation received from outside vendor CIGNA on FMLA process
      * Monitor attendance program and issuance of discipline documentation
      * Assist with investigation of employee relation issues
      * Assist with affirmative action programs
      * Manage plant uniform rental program
      * Manage birthday and anniversary service awards programs
      * Support Community Involvement and Wellness initiatives in a variety of event planning
     Participate on various project teams
      * 3-years payroll experience, required
      * Experience supporting manufacturing, preferred
      * 3-years experience in a human resources support role, preferred
      * Prior experience working in a union environment in an HR function is required
      * Prior experience working in an HR manufacturing environment is required
      * Must have a strong knowledge of state, federal and company policies to assist the Mgr., Human Resources
      * High School diploma or equivalency, required
      * College degree, required.
      * ADP experience, preferred
      * SAP experience, preferred
      * Experience with hourly staffing, required
      * Microsoft Office Suite experience (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), required
