Perform Yard Management system tasks accurately and with attention to detail to ensure accurate trailer inventory. Coordinate/manage flow of goods and materials to/from docks to support delivery deadlines of inbound & outbound loads, while maximizing load productivity. Work with production personnel, to support timely delivery of product. Work with management to support timely delivery of production counts to customer. Meticulously maintain appropriate logs/records of inbound/outbound loads and inventory.

Essential Job Functions:
Demonstrate leadership skills, monitor, and coach gate associates.
Maintain Yard Management System.
Investigate trailer transaction inquiries from management and customer to find root cause analysis.
Perform various inbound & outbound CMMS/ILVS functions.
Process & file receiving & shipping documents.
Communicate to dispatch assign loads to CEVA drivers to protect the needs of the customer.
Communicate with direct inbound drivers to proper locations for unloading, ensure inbound & reloads are followed.
Generate supplier trouble reports when material does not match packing list for goods received. At end of shift check packing list and journal, making necessary corrections when required by specific procedures.
Communicate with customer and suppliers concerning load & material issues & status.

Education & Experience:
Knowledge of dangerous goods shipping requirements
Manage and update various databases for training, process walks, performance, attendance, etc. used for tracking process compliance, induced failures, internal/external errors, training history, etc.
Able to communicate performance issues with managements.
Telephone duties including but not limited to answering & directing phone calls, taking messages, & checking voicemail
Ordering office supplies, various warehouse needs, labels, and ribbons
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to manage "traffic" to ensure the correct trucks are in the correct docks at the correct time.
Good Physical skills on equipment & an aptitude for manual work
Good communication skills
Excellent interpersonal & customer relations skills
Solid knowledge of the computer systems in use by customer
License(s) or Certifications(s) Required:
DOT HAZMAT Shipping certification prefferred. Will require training and certification after hiring if not currently certified.
