Applied Research Solutions is seeking a full-time Senior Systems Security Engineer, located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, OH. The Systems Security Engineer will provide cyber and engineering support to the Cyber Resiliency Office for Weapon Systems (CROWS).
Schedule integration of cybersecurity requirements into program schedules and milestones through various acquisition program Integrated Product Teams
Support development of Systems Security Engineering (SSE) artifacts and templates for inclusion in Systems Engineering (SE) processes
Analyze efforts to incorporate SSE into SE and provide recommendations for improvement
Work with Team Leads and team members to update action plans with current required actions
Ensure cost and schedule are consistent with the action plan
Qualifications/Technical Experience Requirements:
Top Secret Clearance is required
10 + years of experience in a government office environment
ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
ABET-accredited Master's degree
U.S. citizenship required
USAF weapon systems acquisition experience desired
Current understanding of DoD acquisition processes
APDP Certification (Level II or higher) in Engineering or Program Management desired
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
