The Senior Strategic Pricing Analyst applies deep research to uncover new insight into competitive pricing to better position FIS's market strategy. He/she will partner with cross-functional teams to better understand our product portfolios and acquire data from current and potential clients. When we are analytical in our evaluation of competitive market as well as our internal structures,FIS can continue to improve how we do business.

The Day-to-Day
Responsibilities:

Develops, evaluates and implements pricing strategies and models based upon current business and competitive market dynamics.
Conducts research and performs competitive pricing analysis.
Monitors ongoing competitive environment to ensure practices do not adversely impact company reputation or customer satisfaction.
Partners with Sales/Marketing, Business Development and Finance to correctly position product portfolio and establish pricing programs aligned with product/sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements.
Projects impact of pricing changes, individual promotions and rebate programs on revenue.
Creates/administers pricing databases and coordinates implementation of pricing proposals across the organization.
As a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization, he/she resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways.
Performs and presents in-depth pricing models.
Utilize and apply various statistical/analytical measures to analyze and interpret data and generate key insights.
Maintains records and prepares reports and correspondence related to the work performed.
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.

Qualifications:

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
