Directory Services Engineer, OhioHealth Corp., Columbus, OH. Configure, manage, and support enterprise Directory Services infrastructure with careful regard to availability, connectivity, performance, and security. Problem solving for directories, applications and other solutions owned by the Directory Services and IAM team; lead the problem management for recurrent or complex issues. Efficiently troubleshoot/prioritize issues and contribute to culture of root cause analysis. Contribute to development of Directory Services automation processes for support of daily operations and gathering of directory performance information. Provide accurate analysis of business requirements and recommend appropriate solutions. Review current Directory Services solutions and develop proposed improvements; assist with their deployments and documentation as necessary, at varying stages of evolution. Contribute to workflow across change requests, documentation, ticketing, and meeting facilitation. Analyze existing applications from acquired entities to see how they can utilize existing OHH Directory Service implementations. Support crisis situations to a satisfactory conclusion and under stress. Support Azure AD. Provide Azure Tenant Security. Provide configuration and support for O365 Security. Work locations include Columbus and Dublin, Ohio.
Requires bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronic engineering, or related field plus 60 months of IT experience, 60 months performing administration and support in MS Active Directory Domain Services / LDAP and other Authentication / Authorization / Directory Services solutions, and 24 months using advanced troubleshooting skills around LDAP / SAML solutions. Also requires: strong Power Shell scripting experience and operational responsibility over Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and PKI services; knowledge of Window Server architecture in a large domain environment; knowledge of Group Policies and security configuration of Active Directory; working knowledge and understanding of networking technologies (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls, etc.) as they relate to Directory solutions; working knowledge with the latest IDaaS concepts and Federated/Claims Identity solutions; and demonstrated knowledge of creating and maintaining accurate and meaningful technical documentation.
