The Senior Payroll/Time & Attendance IT Analyst role is responsible for implementing and supporting Kronos/ADP/Ceridian Dayforce Payroll and Time & Attendance solution for Sherwin-Williams Company. As part of implementation projects, the incumbent will be required to participate in requirements definition workshops, assist with developing design documentation, configure, develop interfaces and reports and work on data migration, system testing & end-user training. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible to work on production support and proactively seek opportunities to improve business processes and leverage standard functionality. The incumbent will work together with Global IT teams, Vendor team and Business teams on aforementioned tasks.
Strategy & Planning
*Ensure that applications meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.
*Review and analyze existing applications effectiveness and efficiency, and then develop strategies for improving or leveraging these systems.
*Proactively seek opportunities for support reduction through effective training, root cause analysis and process refinement.
*Actively engage business management to understand vision and ensure business needs are met.
Acquisition & Deployment
*Gather requirements, analyzes, creates design documents, and performs impact analysis for application changes.
*Plan and organize tasks, reports progress, manages and coordinates with consultants for implementations.
*Track project deliverables and meet dedicated timelines.
*Collaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of new software programs and applications.
*Analyze documentation and technical specifications of any new application under deployment or consideration to determine its intended functionality.
*Plan and organize for assigned tasks and report progress in defined intervals to stakeholders.
*Plan and test application and database changes, installation of upgrades, patches and new versions, interact with Development, Business Process Owners and Infrastructure teams.
*Manage open issues, delegate requests and work with business owners to prioritize and resolve in a timely manner
*Work with cross-project and Ceridian Global Support Teams to resolve functional
*Create and maintain system documentation when needed.
*Troubleshoot failures in scheduled jobs.
*Analyze, design, develop, test and deploy.
*Attend management meetings on behalf of team.

Formal Education & Certification
*Bachelor degree or foreign equivalent in related field or equivalent experience.
Knowledge & Experience
*5+ years total IT experience.
*3+ years of experience working in Time & Attendance and/or Payroll functions or systems like Ceridian Dayforce, Kronos, ADP etc.
*2+ of integration and reports experience.
*Working knowledge of software development and support methodologies.
*Demonstrated skill in preparation and maintenance of implementation documents.
*Understanding of essential business functions in order to translate business requirements into system configurations.
*Intermediate/Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Office products.
*Demonstrated ability to research complex issues, develop plans for correcting data, and ability to communicate mitigation plans to all involved parties.
*Strong written and oral communications skills.
*Proven ability and initiative to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly.
*Strong systems/process orientation with demonstrated analytical thinking, organization skills and problem solving skills.
*Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
*Ability to quickly pick up new tools and technologies.
